You can still purchase the day pass in October. Assuming you stay within the mid lake area the price will be €15.

If you have time, you can even take a slow ferry from the town of Como to Bellagio which takes about 2 hours, making stops along the way, and offering excellent views of the lake. A day pass for the ferries costs €15. One way tickets are also available and cost €4.60 on up, depending on where you are traveling to/from.

09/09/19 11:06 AM 1176 posts Yes, at the ticket booth at the ferry dock in Varenna, you will have the choice to buy a single ride ticket or an all day pass. Just decide each day depending on weather and your schedule. When we were there a few years ago, the all day pass was about 12 Euro.
